At Working with Wood, every item is made by hand in our workshop, using natural materials. No two clocks, tables, or coasters are ever exactly the same — and that’s what makes them special.
Because we value both craftsmanship and customer trust, we’ve put together clear policies so you know exactly what to expect when ordering from us. These policies are written with care to balance EU consumer rights with the realities of handmade products and natural variations.
🪚 Build to Order
Some of our items are in stock, while others are crafted individually for each order.
- 🟢 In Stock → ready to ship within a few days.
- 🟡 Made to Order → usually built within 5–10 business days (small items), or up to 4 weeks (larger furniture).
- 🔴 Waiting List → when demand is high or for custom builds, longer lead times apply (clearly stated on the product page).
We will always confirm estimated build and delivery times when you place your order.

We ship only within the EU/EEA, always tracked, and with all shipping costs included in our item prices.
🔄 Returns & Refunds
Not happy with your order? Changed your mind? EU law gives you 14 days to return most items, and we respect that right.
That said, please remember: each piece is handmade, and natural wood variations (grain, knots, color) are part of the character of the product. Custom orders and personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty.
